Delicious

I love Delicious (especially its name - mmm). I have been using this site for more than a year now. It is excellent to have your favourite articles in one place - convenient to access from anywhere in the world - and no need for paper cuttings. I often bookmark interesting news items, articles from journals, websites; it is easy then to search using my tags. Yes, it is good to have many access points instead of putting a link in one of the folders in Favorites. It is interesting to explore Delicious website - to check their recent/popular bookmarks and tags, jump to random bookmarks - though it seems that lots of stuff is on web fonts and programming...
Our library uses Delicious - we collect useful websites that might be interesting to our students and to staff to answer user enquiries. It has a collection of links to free resources - a good addition to our subscription-bases databases. Nashville Public Library, Tennessee, uses tags to bookmark the most popular websites too and stores them on Delicious (by the way, they also use Flickr). Connotea and CiteULike are social bookmark sites specifically designed for scientists.
